Our Team
Founded in 2012 as an elective robotics course at Starmont High School. We currently have 7 members. 2021 is the first year that we are an extracurricular activity rather than a class.

Caleb: I'm Caleb and I'm 14 years old. I'm a freshman in robotics and I was interested in robotics because I like to build and do mechanical stuff. This is my first year in Robotics.
Ethan: I'm Ethan I am a Junior at Starmont High School. I participate in FFA, Robotics, and 4H. In my free time I enjoy being outside and working at the locker. This is my second year in robotics and I enjoy meeting new people through FTC.

Ian: My name is Ian Otdoerfer and I have been on the Starmont Sundevils robotics team for three years. In those years, I have learned how to code, build, and drive a robot. I have lead the coding and driving team for the past two years and have helped in the building processes as well. As our season approaches its end this year I hope we can take it as far as we can and repeat that in my senior year. I also hope to teach upcoming freshman the skills I have learned throughout the years.
Gage: I
Camerin: My name is Camerin, I am 17 and I have been a member of the Starmont Sundevils robotics team for three years. I am one of the main builders on the team. I've acquired my building skills from tinkering and watching other people work on the robot. I also work on my RC cars (Radio controlled cars) at home, so I've taken what I've learned from working on those and transferred that to robotics. I plan on teaching the new members of the team how to build and work on the robot.
Coach Becker I have been a secondary math teacher since the 92-93 school year. I am completing my 25th year at Starmont. I have many roles at Starmont, I am the district technology coordinator and also I teach math, computer science, and robotics. This is my 11th year as a coach for FTC. I am glad I have been able to bring FTC to the students at Starmont. My favorite part about FTC is the problem solving and creative thinking it requires us to do.
